Eileen Corbett, our Assistant General Manager, interviewed Noreen Waters from SAS Pobal (Seniors Alert Scheme).

The SAS was set up to encourage community support for vulnerable older people. The scheme provides funding for a personal monitored alarm, connected to a contact centre - to enable elderly people to continue to live securely in their homes with peace of mind. The scheme is funded by the Dept of Rural and Community Development via Pobal.
